What is SANIGUARD® antimicrobial product protection?

SANIGUARD® antimicrobial product protection is a permanent, inorganic antimicrobial treatment that utilizes a silver ion technology to inhibit the growth of bacteria, molds and mildews that cause odors, staining and product deterioration. Silver ions are only released in the presence of bacteria-laden moisture and disrupt the metabolic and reproductive cycles of the microorganisms.
